In this paper, the author analyzes the rural culture construction and innovation based on digital media technology. Through digital media technology, we can effectively provide a way to spread rural culture. At the same time, the application of database and virtual reality technology can also provide technical support for the protection and promotion of traditional rural culture. In conclusion, the development of rural characteristic culture not only enables farmers to realize the meaning of life in the cultural system, but also has the function of protecting the intangible cultural heritage of rural areas.
