The contribution conducts a comparative legal study on the protection of intangible cultural heritage through the analysis of the similarities or differences between the legal solutions adopted by the various legal systems. The objective is to investigate the effects that the UNESCO Convention on the Intangible Cultural Heritage has had on the protection and safeguarding of this heritage, in order to verify the existence of a genuine global right to the intangible cultural heritage
