Resumen

In this paper, we present a case study/overview related to the exhibition of our cultural heritage projects at the Digital Heritage Congress 2018 (DH, 2018) in San Francisco, USA. The authors provide highlights of the information design process applied to the preservation and re-presentation of cultural heritage via digital media. This exhibition presented a collection of the research-creation work carried by the Centre for Research Creation (CRCDM) at Sunway University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It focused on disappearing indigenous tangible and intangible heritage as well as an approach for the use of digital media to build new forms of user experience and raise awareness. Visitors encountered a variety of immersive content comprising unique exemplars of Malaysian cultural heritage, storytelling and craft traditions.
