The Role of the Library in the Protection of the Intangible Cultural Heritage

On the basis of introducing the importance of protecting the Intangible Cultural Heritage,this article points that the library should take part in the protection and transmission of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.By exploiting and arranging the Intangible Cultural Heritage,the library should materialize the Living Culture into visible document,build the protecting and using system of the Intangible Cultural Heritage,and develop the function of propaganda and extension effectively.
