Inheritance and Innovation Strategy of Linxia Brick Carving Art based on Digital technology

As we usher in the 21st century, digital technology has risen to an engine of development in the information age, making its presence felt in every aspect of our life, and meanwhile providing new solutions to protection and inheritance of culture and art. Linxia brick carving is a gem of traditional Chinese culture, and it is necessary to explore how to combine digital innovation with inheritance of this cultural gem from the perspective of "intangible cultural heritage". In this paper, the inheritance and innovation of Linxia Brick Carving Art was studied based on Digital technology, from the functional innovation of "environmental pottery", the language innovation of "pottery"craft materials and the visual innovation of modeling language "adapt to time change". This aspect proposes the current innovative digital development strategy of Linxia brick carving art, with the purpose of inspiring people to change their concepts, creating design works that adapt to the development of the times, and expanding new spaces and ways for the development of brick carving art.
