Resumen |
Digital gaming has become an innovative avenue for showcasing and disseminating intangible cultural heritage (ICH). Presently, there s a challenge in educational games centered on handicraft ICH: balancing enjoyment and engagement with effective heritage learning. Addressing this, the article introduces an Embodied Experience Educational Game Model. This model integrates a digitization framework for handicraft ICH, aligning it with the structural elements of the game model. Utilizing this approach, the study develops “Cloth Tiger Hunt,” an educational game themed on a traditional Chinese handicraft ICH, the Cloth Tiger. The research then undertakes a comprehensive evaluation through controlled experiments, both qualitative and quantitative, to assess the game s impact on learning outcomes, user experience, and motivational aspects related to the Cloth Tiger ICH. This research contributes innovatively to the theory and practice within the field of ICH education, offering valuable insights and a reference point for future studies in this area. |
