Presently, there s a challenge in educational games centered on handicraft ICH: balancing enjoyment and engagement with effective heritage learning. Addressing this, the article introduces an Embodied Experience Educational Game Model. This model integrates a digitization framework for handicraft ICH, aligning it with the structural elements of the game model. Utilizing this approach, the study develops “Cloth Tiger Hunt,” an educational game themed on a traditional Chinese handicraft ICH, the Cloth Tiger. The research then undertakes a comprehensive evaluation through controlled experiments, both qualitative and quantitative, to assess the game s impact on learning outcomes, user experience, and motivational aspects related to the Cloth Tiger ICH.
