This paper aims to analyze from the 15th to the 19th century the archival collection Ernani Silva Bruno the Museum of Casa Brasileira in São Paulo, Brazil, identifying its contribution to the safeguarding of the food patrimony of the State of São Paulo through cultural tourism. A qualitative research was based on the analytical-descriptive methodology, seeking to establish conceptual questions and to understand the reception practices, commensality and hospitality present in the territory of São Paulo during the period. As a result of research, questions were raised regarding food and lodging, from the reception perspective. And through the results it is considered that the collection has a significant role for the preservation and maintenance of the intangible heritage of São Paulo, and cultural tourism is a tool for dissemination, dynamization and heritage education. |
