The policy for intangible cultural heritage of republic of Korea and Japan

Republic of Korea and Japan have various policies developed for the safeguarding and keeping alive the traditional products alive which face with the dangers of vanishing and extinction in view of the globalization. In this study, the policies of Republic of Korea and Japan which are developed to safeguard intangible cultural heritage and cultural policies of UNESCO will be compared. The similarities and differences between them will be put forth.
