Literatura de cordel: folclore, coleção e patrimônio imaterial

The seminar “Acervos de cordel, bancos de dados e patrimônio em instituições públicas: desafios e perpectivas”, held by IEB/USP (2018), set the theme to reflect on the uniqueness of the patrimonialisation process of cordel literature and the uses of popular culture under the cultural policies. It analyzes the Projeto Literatura de Cordel of Centro de Referência Cultural do Ceará - Ceres (1975-1990) and points out the challenges and prospects of Cordel’s memory institutions in a key that highlights the creation of a collection of leaflets by its collectors.
