Traditional ethnomedicinal usage of Ficus carica.

This chapter provides insights into the traditional medicinal uses of F. carica and summarizes the studies reported in the literature that have investigated different organs used for specific purposes. Furthermore, articles that derive and collate the intangible heritage of fig used as a folk medicine are also discussed.
