La casa museo de período histórico o de estilo cultural: una aproximación al caso español

The house-museum, as a cultural institution that must lodge its own place in the studies of Museology, presents some indicators that operate as categories, which are the historical period and the cultural style. In Spain, it is claimed that this museum category have its own identity thanks to its contribution to the knowledge provided to our cultural composition through the analysis of its architecture as an exponent of a certain taste and its relation to the different material and intangible heritage present in their domestic spaces.
