Abstract

In China, people with expertise, such as intangible cultural heritage (ICH) practitioners, are using live streaming to share knowledge with viewers. Streamers in China use a fragmented technology ecosystem to better engage viewers and share knowledge. Live-streaming challenges include physical and cognitive demand, credibility about expertise, measuring engagement, and diversity of ICH content.
