Intangible cultural heritage: Unesco and ethnographic museums

The article discusses the tangible and intangible cultural heritage as categories which are the basic subject of ethnological/anthropological research and the essential contents of the activities in ethnographic museums. The author explains that ethnology/anthropology and ethnographic museums have been dealing with both aspects of heritage from the very beginning, and that ethnologists/anthropologists have always referred to them as "culture".
