The closure of the mine of Almadén in 2003 after more than 2500 years of ininterrupted exploitation, has left a patrimonial heritage entailing in UNESCO world heritage in 2012. Within the miner heritage, the monumental and in a small extent the documental by the researches and documental by the researches and publications already made lately, there are the ones that the administration and the society have placed value on: Mining Park, Bullring, the Mining Academy, the Real Forced Prison, the Real Miners Hospital, Historical Files the Mine of Almadén, etc. In the confirmed shadow of all of them, we can find an inmaterial heritage and all that arises from the popular tradition of the context and the daily life of those who have been miners in the mine of Almadén (Almadén, Chillón, Alamillo and Almadenejos), their habitat, their social relationships, their surroundings, customs, traditional practices, vocabulary, artistic manifestations, handicraft, folklore, etc. This paper search to consider and to enhance this type of ethnographic heritage, because the time went by works against age of the last miners.
