Resumen

The work between artisans and designers has been created as a long-term pro-cess, although at first glance this relationship has developed as an organic dispute; how-ever, there are a series of tensions and inequalities that end up weaving a complex scenario for both craftsmen and designers. The objective of this publication seeks to start from the field experience and the observation of work among a group of weavers from the Sierra Norte in the State of Puebla, Mexico; designers and fashion brands, under a critical eye in order to understand part of the complex relationship between those worlds (designers/artisans) and their tensions.
