Cuando «la diferencia» canta: La idiosincrasia gitana tradicional en el cante flamenco. De la oralidad a la escritura

We are faced with a capital aspect, from which the privilege granted to writing is refuted in our days, as I published in this writing on my blog in November 2022. Orality does not point to an imperfection or a lack, but a particular modality, not at all inferior, of cultural elaboration and transmission. The gypsies, in this sense, are not "a-graphs", "an-alphabets" (why define singularity in terms of an absence?): they experience a culture of orality, in the expression of A. R. Luria, E. A. Havelock, W. Ong and others.
