Application of Huangmei Cross-stitch in modern women s wear design

As national intangible cultural heritage, Huangmei Cross-stitch has unique artistic charm, but this art is now facing the problem of "dynamic" inheritance. Through field investigation, literature review, physical research, design practice and other research methods, this paper systematically summarizes the artistic features of Huangmei Cross-stitch and the possibility of combination with modern women s wear design through text description and picture display. It is believed that: on the one hand, the pattern innovation of Huangmei Cross-stitch can be directly applied in modern women s wear through time and space grafting design; on the other hand, deconstruction and reorganization method can be used to make its extraction elements have abstract feeling in modern women s wear design. The pattern color innovation of Huangmei Cross-stitch can adopt the method of color extraction design of the bottom cloth and the method of color extraction design of the pattern to complete the innovative application in modern women s clothes. The technology application method of Huangmei Cross-stitch includes material innovation, adjustment of the number of embroidered threads, combination of a variety of process. All can realize the connection of traditional and modern fashion.
