Resumen |
In this article we discuss the relationship between the boisbumb6s and the Parintins Folklore Festival located in Amazonas countryside, as a form of intangible cultural heritage and expression of symbolic resistance and Amazonian identity. The aim of this discussion is to identify discursive aspects of resistance and power relations in reference to nature, aboriginal knowledge, and artistic revolution within the opening songs: " Chamada do Boi 2023-Pode Avisar" , representing the bumb6 Caprichoso and "Garantido Por Toda Vida" representing bumb6 Garantido . For the methodology, we applied the deductive method and a qualitative approach of descriptive and interpretive nature, which enabled us to outline and interpret the data present in the corpus, seeking to identify the meanings signaled in our theoretical context framework, which is based on Braga (2014), Foucault (1995; 1996; 2001; 2017;), Bennet (1998) and others. From the analyses conducted, we can consider that the opening songs reveal the multidimensional meaning of Boi-Bumb6 as folklore and cultural resistance that carries deep political and symbolic significance for the Amazon region as well. |
