Cantos Populares: O apêndice musical da Historia de Galicia de Manuel Murguía

Marcial Valladares and Manuel Murguía are well-known characters in Galician culture. This article wants to focus on a small collection of scores that both are guilty of: one as a collector and harmonizer, and the other for including them in one of his publications. The result of this collaboration could not be more successful. For the first time traditional Galician music was printed, thus being before an absolutely foundational monument.
