Resumen |
The objective of this study is to examine the tasks for listing martial arts of Muyedobotongji on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The conclusions are like below.First, Muyedobotongji was published in 1790 (14th year of King Jeongjo). The 24 martial arts of Muyedobotongji were basically divided into three types like stabbing, chopping \& cutting, and hitting.Second, the value of martial arts of Muyedobotongji is highly evaluated because it has systematically put together the martial arts of three countries like Korea, China, and Japan of the 18th century, suitable for the actual status of Joseon Dynasty, in the new perspective. |
