This study is on a traditional food of Jeju province. Today, with themodern food becomig poor, we have had some problems. This studyaims at improvement of food culture and finds good methods throughtraditional food.There are a few good points in Jeju food. Most of all, Jeju cuisineuses a fresh food of nature and ecological raw materials. Especially,Jeju people share their food with neighborhood and form their relationsby the medium of food. As a result, it helps greatly to make commonprosperity through contributing food willingly in Jeju society. It givesmoral lessons and implication to modern people who are too busy to eatnicely.Recently, we live in a busy social system. So, we eat a lot ofartificial food such as fast food, junk food, etc. It has caused problemswhich are disease, collective selfishness, lack of humanism.We need to find solutions to a problem. The study is focusing onhow we apply Jeju traditional cuisine s merit to human nature byproviding date to recover human relationship in our modern society. |
