Resumen |
Understanding music culture with performance activities in music, will be individually based competences, cultural competencies congruent with interacting in the positive future for students’communities. Transferable literacy into musical culture, it is associated with the cognitive realm in learning process through mobilizing a range of mental prerequisites for students’communities. The music cultural education in Korea, students have provided insight into students’competencies, instead of functioning as a ranking tool that is based solely on results and achievements of the students. As students, an evaluation method should be implemented as ‘assessment for learning’ to understand students’ achievement levels and also as a tool how much cumulating students’competences in a way of learning process. The musical discourse reflected in their communique with competencies understand to cover knowledge, skill, attitude and value with the context of their socio-cultural milieu, through changing social environments. Music learning becomes engaging with cultural discourse in a network of conversation as a musical discourse. In this way, life long competences are learned cumulatively into the cultural community in music and that it exists on a continuum. Therefore, this study aimed to open cultural communication in music literacy through musical discourse. For developing the draft cultural communication in music literacy, this paper carried out a cultural literacy learning process of 1-10 lessons in the music curriculum framework, which focuses on improving cultural competencies through musical discourse. And also, this paper carried out evaluation of cultural literacy in music, which this study is trying to suggest, is developing formative assessment as a method of evaluation – like a performance assessment - that provides quantized score by each contents of instruction in order to give detailed feedback to the teachers and students altogether. In this reason that a cultural literacy and learning music is needed for anyone hoping to grow up as a future leader in our value-added and knowledge-based society. |
