It is thought that the future national competitiveness exists in our well-preserved cultural heritage and natural heritage. The 10 places except the Changdeok Palace registered as a world cultural heritage in December, 1997, the two places except Hallasan, natural heritage, the six places except Hunminjeongeum, Korean script, documentary heritage, and the seven places except the royal ancestral ritual in the Jongmyo shrine and its music, intangible cultural heritage have been registered as UNESCO s world heritage respectively. These results are thought to have been acquired by the government and local government, scholar, and those concerned who participated after a painstaking effort. Except these there are historical sites \& places and the four rivers surrounded with beautiful natural landscape including the Upo Wetland registered as international Ramsar wetland for preservation with the primitive natural environment living as it is. Our nation s people have got a wonderful outcome so far in the international society through a lot of endeavors in the respective sectors and active business activities aiming at the economic growth according to the government policy. As its result with the increased income level per capita we are breathlessly running toward the national income of 30,000 dollars per capita. Like this we will have to continue to try our best for the economic growth, but from now on we ll have to promote the cultural tourism industry as the nation s legitimate key industry. Accordingly equipped with appearance as a powerful nation in culture we ll have to create tourism income and jobs. With the quality of life improved it is deemed that from now on the demand for tourists to visit our cultural heritage \& natural heritage will be increasing day by day. However the specialties \& souvenirs containing our unique traditionality \& symbolism to be shown to them are not properly prepared. According to the survey in the midst of our indifference it is quite a regrettable reality that the inferior imported goods have dominated our tourist attractions \& traditional markets so far. I have derived a result through proposing a new something to eat, specialty as a gift containing traditionality \& regionality for the domestic and international tourists visiting Busan, an international marine city and a city of film, culture \& art to be enjoyed by everyone and studying the design identity to the effect that a design major should participate in even a soft design sector and propose in order to cope with this problem. |
