The difference of the Intangible Heritage Protection System between China and Korea from the case study of Gangneung Danoje Festival

The Gangneung Danoje Festival was appeared in the World Heritage List successfully made a big influence in China. The origin of Chinese Duanwu Festival and Korean Gangneung Danoje Festival is actually the protection and development of the Chinese traditional culture heritage. The academic returns focus on the culture itself but not the Protection system of the intangible heritage. The difficulty of obtaining the Korean material makes this study tougher. This paper did the research with the Korean materials and research into the cultural origin, compared with the cultural difference between them, then analyzed the Korean protection system for the intangible heritage. It reminds us that in the period of the development of the society, we should also be aware of the protection of the traditional culture, or we will lose our cultural identification and cultural origin.
