Resumen |
The inclusion of the dry stone technique by Unesco in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, in 2018, was the end of a process initiated years ago by different European countries, in which Some autonomous administrations of the Spanish State also participated. This significant recognition is not, however, a closed process, but rather an incentive for the development of proposals whose main objective is the safeguarding of dry stone techniques and the values inherent in this form of construction. The management and implementation of these initiatives, as well as the analysis of the formulation process of the Unesco Candidacy and its link with the Andalusian territory, are some of the aspects that are dealt with in this article. |
