The historical aspect of the Seonghwangje and Kunjabong-Seonghwangje

Kunjabong-Seonghwangje is a representative intangible cultural heritage of Siheung City. Kunjabong-Seonghwang serves Silla s last King Kimbu(King Gyeong-soon) as the main god. Linked to the king and gimbu the goddess of women (Wife, An and mother in law, Hong), Seo Hui is associated with and have been maintained. Historically, the rule of HongmuYehje(洪武禮制) and a four-star generalfour(Sadaepu, 士大夫) had an important effect on the maintenance of Kunjabong-Seonghwangje. First, Kunjabong-Seonghwang expanded from the village religion of Guzunmul(구즌물) to the local religion of Ansan area.
