Kunjabong-Seonghwangje is a representative intangible cultural heritage of Siheung City. Kunjabong-Seonghwang serves Silla s last King Kimbu(King Gyeong-soon) as the main god. Linked to the king and gimbu the goddess of women (Wife, An and mother in law, Hong), Seo Hui is associated with and have been maintained. Historically, the rule of HongmuYehje(洪武禮制) and a four-star generalfour(Sadaepu, 士大夫) had an important effect on the maintenance of Kunjabong-Seonghwangje. First, Kunjabong-Seonghwang expanded from the village religion of Guzunmul(구즌물) to the local religion of Ansan area. And its appearance as a shrine to help maritime in the western coastal areas and grant wishes. Eventually, Kunjabong-Seonghwang is at the center of the faith as a religious presence in the West-Coast and southern Gyeonggi Province. And when you look at it like this, Kunjabong-Seonghwangje is a special case in which the Divine Spirit, which protects a village and an area, was handed over by extension.
