It appears in the annals of the Joseon Dynasty. There are man of talent, Whachuk, Tartary etc. They are all groups that go out begging and selling performances. I tracked the tradition of this group. This group has been succeeded by the singing beggars(Korean gypsy)or wandering artist groups. It is the first group mentioned in the Karugigi taryeong of Shin jaehyo. The singing beggars(Korean gypsy) in the late of Joseon Dinasty almost disappeared friendships other entertainment groups. But they have inherited that Chaguni group in IIlo town Muan County. After this tradition of begging disappeared. And then Monodrama was born. It was a replica of folksongs and Pansori for example taryeong of singing beggars. A typical example is the Pumba of Kim shira. The singing beggars influence of this on the traditional markets and festival, it is active spring up everywhere with a named Pumba. Kong okjin who had been with the singing beggars twice, recreated to dance of the handicapped(Animal dance). She has created a genre called one person’s play of songs and dance. Traditional singing beggars have disappeared. But the self-proclaimed Pumba who took over the context, are performing of singing beggars at festivals and personal party in the whole country. The players who is succeed by Kim shira, paly to Pumba of monodrama, through constant theatrical reconstruction. Of course, including elegant intangible cultural properties, traditon of singing beggars(Korean gypsy), it requires attention in terms of the current intangible cultural heritage. It is necessary to trace the context of the reconstruction and the context of the recreations.
