Resumen |
Intangible cultural heritage expresses the cultural values possessed by societies and transmitted from generation to generation. In order to ensure the preservation and sustainability of these heritage values, in 2003 "Convention on the Conservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage" was made by UNESCO on the basis of protection and survival. The Republic of Turkey was also a party to the agreement in 2006 and has written a number of its heritage cultural values to the "Intangible Cultural Heritage List". In the studies related to the subject emphasized that these cultural values, in terms of social, economic, cultural interaction, promotion and tourism make contribute at the regional and national levels. The art of "Ebru", which entered the list as a Turkish paper decoration art in 2014, also has this potential with national and international organizations. Particularly, there is no specific study for the contribution of Ebru art. Especially, the starting point of this study is we have not encountered any study about the art of Ebru which is an important cultural value from the past and also relation with tourism which is an important strategic sector in the development of our country. The aim of this conceptual study that will give direction to future studies on this field, is to contribute to the studies to be done by examining possible reflections of "Ebru" art, which is an important value in the context of tourism reflections of intangible cultural heritage values. |
