The comparsa La Placita (1938 1958): intangible heritage of the carnival of Santiago de Cuba

Analytical-propositional study with theoretical-methodological budgets that contribute to scientific knowledge since two interrelated lines: one, which validates intangible heritage from the presence of imperishable elements in popular culture and as an undeniable contribution of its artistic-cultural wealth; the other, which delves into the origins and evolution of the comparsa La Placita until placing it in action inseparable from the most deeply rooted festivity in Santiago de Cuba: the carnival.
