Study on the patterns of Zhuang brocade

Zhuang Brocade is the first state-level intangible cultural heritage. Sorting out the patterns of Zhuang Brocade is important to protect intangible cultural heritage. The previous research on Zhuang Brocade is limited to literal description. On the basis of studying Zhuang Brocade of Guangxi Museum of Nationalities. This article discusses the composition and the subject matter of patterns by a larger number of instances and provides an important supplement ——Tianhua brocade structure to the composition. Besides art features, This article also summaries the cause of formation which includes pursuing the beautiful life and the limitation of the technology. Meantime, The author presents the patterns are combination of cultural exchange by absorbing the Han culture proved by the the archaeology evidence and documents. This article is aim to better protecting and inheriting Zhuang Brocade by propagating the beauty and arousing the attention.
