Special Issue: Sustainability and shifting paradigms in tourism.

This special issue, published on the 20th anniversary of the Lanzarote Charter for Sustainable Tourism, preliminarily deals with some of the theoretical and practical aspects of reformulating long-term tourism strategies and tourism policy frameworks. The 13 papers in this issue deal with the sustainable development of tourism, sustainability-concerned governance, cultural sustainability involving tangible and intangible heritage, environmental sustainability and ecotourism.
