Research on the Digital Multidimensional Reconstruction of Character Design in the Folk Art

In this paper, we conduct research on the digital multidimensional reconstruction of the character design in the folk art. Modern design and folk arts in semiotic sense has many convergences, design with information as the main goal, folk art symbols has the rich connotation and profound implication, and the connotation and implication is nationalization and popularization, this is our country modern design nationalization provides favorable visual resources. Folk art is an important part of the intangible cultural heritage, it carries a wide variety of cultural prototype, accumulated for the thousands of years of national culture, both in form and meaning of contemporary design art has a profound impact. Our research provides the novel perspective of the character design in the folk art which will assist us protect the traditional culture and art.
