Research on Pearl Ball Game Inheritance under the Perspective of Sports Immaterial Culture Heritage

Pearl Ball Game is a kind of important sports immaterial culture heritage with a long history and distinctive characteristics. It is a folk physical activity of the ball game of Manchu. The document information method and interview method are adopted in this paper. At present, Pearl Ball Game has been developed gradually, but there exists many problems to be solved for this traditional sport of ethnic minority in the process of inheritance and development. Comprehensive countermeasures must be adopted to solve the practical problems. Inheritance of Pearl Ball Game will be definitely a long-term, arduous task. Every area of ethnic minority, in particular autonomous county and township of Manchu, should play the main role for their special strong points. Particularly the provinces and cities in Northeast China can devote more on expansion of the Pearl Ball Game. General Administration of Sport of China and State Ethnic Affairs Commission, i.e. the relevant depaitments, should offer better service.
