Projeto raízes: um olhar sobre. Mediação cultural eeducação patrimonial na ilha de S. Miguel, Açores

Roots is a project of Cultural Mediation and Heritage Education, developed in the academicyear 2013/2014, which aims to stimulate and develop skills of young students of the 2nd and3rd cycles of basic education in the area of heritage. The main output expected is a so-called"workshop of memory" (a small school museum), keeping alive the roots of the past. To thisend we seek to articulate historical, cultural and scientific findings with the schoolcommunity, through crisscross working in areas of tangible and intangible heritage.
