Potencialidades de desenvolvimento turístico na região de Miranda com base na língua e património cultural: Uma proposta

The language and the Mirandese culture are the basis of tangible and intangible heritage of Miranda Plateau / Praino, making this region the historical, linguistic and cultural point of view, a unique opportunity to tourism development.In this sense, aware of the importance of cultural tourism as a local agent promotion and development of the territory, we defend the creation of increase in tourism and language-culture policies, we believe we can encourage the exploitation of the legacy of a historic area.So, after a brief presentation and characterization of Miranda do Douro, we analyze the importance of language, culture, ethnography, tangible and intangible heritage of Miranda region, we propose strategies to promote Miranda do Douro as a tourist destination within and outside the country. To this end, we present the recreation of some traditions that encourage and promote the recovery of symbols and rituals fallen into disuse since the mid-twentieth century, valuing a concept of tourism rooted in the traditions and collective memory, that is, in cultural identity.
