Aspectos del patrimonio cultural inmaterial jacobeo del Camino Francés a su paso por La Rioja y Castilla y León en "The way of Saint James", de Georgiana Goddard King

At the beginning of the 20th century, the American historian and Hispanist Georgiana Goddard King discovered, carried out and studied the Way of Saint James in France and, above all, in northern Spain. The result was The Way of Saint James, a pioneering and groundbreaking work. Among the subjects she deals with in it, architectural and artistic motifs stand out. But she also pays attention to different aspects of the immaterial Jacobean culture specific to this route. In this article we will look specifically at how King presents the miracles, legends and traditions linked to the pilgrimage and the pilgrims on the central section of the French Route, which crosses La Rioja and Castilla y León.
