Abstract

This article emphasizes the crafts of women artisans of the Goiabeiras Association of Paneleiras, Espirito Santo State, Brazil. The objective of the research is to evaluate the satisfaction of tourists, buyers of pots and clay products, in relation to the quality of the service performed by the artisans in the shed of the Paneleiras association in Goiabeiras, in the city of Vitoria, Brazil. The methodology of this study has a descriptive and qualitative character, based on a readaptation of the theoretical-methodological approach Servqual. The results obtained suggest that the attributes of quality in services are delineated primarily by empathic and tangible facets. At the end, the sociocultural, market and academic implications of the results obtained in this multifactorial territory of contrasts are discussed.
