Abstract

This article investigates the relations between Locative Art and the interpretation of the tangible and intangible heritage of the cities. The discussion anchors in the analysis of Rider Spoke artwork and in the artistic practice of adding personal stories to the urban environment as a layer of digital information. The author points to the symbolic aspect of urban memory, nourished by the memories of its citizens and constructed by the stories lived and shared in these spaces.
