Una aproximación a los valores patrimoniales de la Semana Santa de Andalucía

La Semana Santa es, ante todo, una festividad religiosa que conmemora la pasión, muerte y resurrección de Cristo y que otorga un pleno significado a la comunidad católica a través de la redención del género humano. Sin embargo, junto a este carácter sacro, esta celebración también pone de manifiesto la concreción, desarrollo y difusión de una serie de valores correspondientes al patrimonio cultural material e inmaterial que la enriquecen y que la convierten en una expresión única y genuina del conjunto del territorio andaluz.
