This paper researches on the protection and development of Musical Intangible Cultural Heritages (MICH) with the theory of "live development" based on questionnaire survey and field work. The outcome is that a course about protection and development of MICH should be conducted for college students of music major with teaching strategies of class teaching, inviting folk artisans to perform or giving lectures, conducting seminars and field work.
