Currently, a lot of work is being done in the world to preserve the intangible cultural heritage (ICH) at the initiative of the UN in accordance with the Convention on the Preservation of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO, adopted on October 17, 2003. The author considers the visual reconstruction, that is, the digitization of patterns of folk dance movements according to the choreographic texts of famous folk choreographers, including Kazakh folk dances from the books of famous Kazakhstan collectors of dance folklore and choreographers like Shara Zhienkulova, Dauren Abirov, Aubakir Ismailov, topical. According to the author, visual recovery in a more accessible video format of the best examples of folk dance movements described in the choreographic texts of books by masters of folk and folk stage dances, and providing access to them via the Internet, will help to preserve them for future generations and actualization in modern choreography.
