In particular, the canning legacy of the Puerto neighbourhood of the city of Mar del Plata (Argentina) is analysed from its related material and immaterial as-pects, emphasizing its symbolic-social characteristics. For this, we work with a qual-itative approach and from a perspective focused on past-present interrelationships, which articulates graphic, written and oral archives. Thus, it is proposed to advance its knowledge along with diffusion guidelines that provide other views towards its pres-ervation.  a2605-4450
