They are considered to be summaries of personal or collective opinions, practices and experiences. Our present contribution aims to verify the existence of a reconciliation of the proverbs of the two languages. Thus, we can admit that this intangible heritage is not specific to a given society or culture: proverbs are universal and shared. They are translated into different languages and dress according to the cultural values of each society.
