These emerge as a cultural treasure whose preservation and promotion have become crucial aspects for sustainable development and the conservation of its identity. The work aims to strengthen the intangible cultural heritage and implement a tourist route in the Tsachila community. For the study, the general problem -solving method and PES℡ were used to identify the causes that threaten the preservation of cultural heritage. It is concluded that strategies that require collaboration between the Tsachila community and local authorities must be implemented.
