This study compares and analyzes the characteristics and differences of the protection systems of the intangible cultural heritage between the Korea and China through the protection systems of the intangible cultural heritage Holders of South Korea and China, and finds the value and the For the future.In 2004, China joined the UNESCO agreement on the protection of intangible cultural heritage and began to accelerate the protection of intangible cultural heritage, but it has not achieved effective protection for the holders. Meanwhile, Korea s policy for the protection of intangible cultural assets has provided a legal and institutional framework for the protection of intangible cultural assets at the national level since the enactment of the Cultural Properties Protection Act in 1962.
