AB - This study is examining the Pansori of Park Dongjin for the values and contents as an intangible cultural heritage. Recommend the extension plan for these contents. The Pansori of Park Dongjin such as \textlessChunhyangga(Song of Chunhyang)\textgreater, \textlessSimcheongga(Song of Simcheong)\textgreater, \textlessHeungboga(Song of Heungbo)\textgreater, \textlessSugungga(Sea Palace Song)\textgreater and \textlessJeokbyeokga(Song of Red Cliff)\textgreater is highly appreciated by its perfection of the song and they are reflecting the intensions of the audience. The Pansori of Park Dongjin is categorized as one of the ‘middle high type’, but actually it should be characterized as ‘Park Dongjin type’. His type has been categorized because his origin is from the Chungchungdo province and his teachers are originated from the Chungchungdo province, but his sounds has a long tone and also has creativity with his hard effort to organize it. Therefore it is appropriate to call it as Park Dongjin type Pansori. Some people would have concerns for his musicality, but if it is heard and experienced, the five songs are all great masterpieces.The restoration of the lost Pansori is one of the important achievements of Park Dongjin. The Pansori songs \textlessByeongangsoega(Song of Byeongangsoe)\textgreater, \textlessSugyeongnangjajeon(Story of Lady Sugyeong)\textgreater, \textlessBaebijangjeon(Story of Officer Bae)\textgreater, \textlessJangkkitaryeong(Song of a Male Pheasant)\textgreater and \textlessOnggojipjeon (Story of Penny Pincher Ong)\textgreater which were restored should give high respect for Park Dongjin as a restorer. The word ‘contents’ did not exist during the times but restoring the forgotten Pansori could be a development and extension of Pansori contents.Park Dongjin has also composed the \textlessBible Pansori(Song of New Testament)\textgreater. It is a development of contents for the neutralization of artistic values with his religious mind for composing the contents of the Bible to Pasori. It has not gotten recognition from many people but it has being given attention to many Christians as an important piece and there is a need for positive evaluation.Park Dongjin is a pioneering person for contents development. His creation CM such as ‘Jebi molur naganda (one phrase of the Heungboga Song)’ and ‘ours is important!’ is not only a commercial CM but has given inspiration towards Gukak (Korean Traditional Music). The object what he commercialized may have been forgotten but this copy has highlighted Gukak and given attention to the public that Korean Traditional Music and Pansori is important. This is an important example of content development.Throughout the achievements and promotion for the creation and use of contents of Park Dongjin, he is a talented singer.
