However, as a very important part of the traditional culture of our country, its development prospect in the modern society is not optimistic, and is gradually alienated in our life. In recent years, Chinese traditional culture and art has obtained more and more people s attention, and the intangible cultural heritage protection education is included into the national education system. The paper-cut art into primary and secondary school art class not only can deepen students understanding of traditional folk art, but also can exercise their endurance and perseverance and cultivate their aesthetic ability, practical ability, thinking ability and innovation ability. In recent years, the textbooks published by People s Fine Arts Publishing House (hereafter referred to as PFAPH) pay special attention to the excellent traditional art in the selection of art knowledge, in which the paper-cut art also exists. However, in the textbooks and paper-cut teaching practice, there appear a series of problems. For this, based on the existing literature and teaching practice, this paper uses related discipline knowledge of education, fine arts, art and so on and combines theory and practice to study a series of problems, and try to find a comprehensive and effective policy response and provide some new ideas for the future development of paper cutting teaching.
