Cultural tourism is one of the fastest-growing forms of tourism and has a significant impact on the development and sustainability of rural areas. The study aim is to analyse the cultural tourism potential of selected municipalities. The research includes analysis and evaluation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage based on literature review and accessible data. According to the results of the study the strengths and weaknesses of the selected localities were determined.
