After an investigation of the current state of the art and information gathering, we designed the serious RPG (Role-playing game) "Peking Brimming with the Odor of Spring" to present Beijing spring festival culture to people in an entertaining way to support their practice and learning. We discuss the theoretical rationale for adopting serious games in this specific field, as well as the design process of the game. This project is conducted under the framework of Beijing Memory project. We believe this project shows an interesting potential of Serious Games in the ICH field. a9781728102924 (ISBN)
